Comcast Grant helps Mary’s Place offer literacy workshops to guests as well as provide them with technology to help them learn computer skills, find jobs, etc.
In early June, we opened a new short-stay shelter with 50 safe, warm beds for moms, dads, and children - but also works with qualifying families to provide Diversion resources to help families move back into housing within 30 days.
We’re holding a Back-to-School Carnival to collect school supplies for the new year, and we need volunteers to make this a super fun event for our kids!

At their annual meeting in May, the Mary’s Place Board of Directors elected Carie Fowler Antonelli as their new chairperson and thanked outgoing chair Dan McGrady for his leadership and advocacy. Dan will remain on Mary’s Place board.
Our Mary’s Place Girl Scout troop plans to use the money we earn selling cookies to provide enriching experiences for our girls, and all youth in our family shelters. Check out where we’ll be selling!
