Angela was inspired to become a Mary’s Place monthly donor when she learned about our work to prevent homelessness before families with children lose their housing.

Some of the biggest barriers families transitioning to housing face are getting donated furniture items that fit their needs and getting them delivered to their new home.

Jessica Safley leads Mary's Place’s team of mobile outreach specialists. For this team, meeting families where they are both physically and emotionally and helping to remove barriers to housing is paramount.

Birthdays are a big deal for kids! Thanks to a partnership with local nonprofit Birthday Dreams, the birthday wishes of kids at Mary’s Place come true with monthly group parties where each child is celebrated.
