"At Mary's Place, the emergency family intake line rings 40 to 50 times every day from parents desperately searching for a safe place for their children to sleep. That is the true measure of need," said Mary's Place CEO Dominique Alex. Behind every number in this year's Point-in-Time Count is a child, and the trauma of losing a home follows them into their classrooms, their relationships, and their futures.

From flower arranging classes and conversations in their native languages to welcoming princesses and meals served with a smile, Grace helps our volunteers share their skills, love, and support with families at Mary’s Place in a fun and meaningful way.

The Allen Family Center (AFC) is a one-stop shop providing families assistance with housing, health, and child wellbeing. Mary’s Place is one of five local community partners that provide services and resources at the AFC – assisting 669 families last year alone.
