Most of the data and information we collect through our website is used only to help Mary’s Place achieve its mission of empowering homeless women, children, and families to reclaim their lives. It is our policy to collect and store only personal information that our clients knowingly provide.

From Casual Web Site Visitors and General Users. We do not collect any personal information from users browsing our web site. When you use the public areas of our website you are doing so anonymously. We do collect aggregate use information, such as the number of hits (visits) per page. We use aggregate data for internal and marketing purposes, but we don’t collect any personally identifying information.

From Our Clients, Donors and Other Supporters. If while visiting our website you make a donation, register to attend an event, or sign up to receive our newsletter or volunteer, you will be asked to provide certain information. In all cases, providing this information is voluntary. In most cases, Mary’s Place asks for name, title, address, telephone, and e-mail. If you’re making a donation, you may be asked for credit card information.

Donor List

Our donor list is not for sale. When you visit our website or become a donor to Mary’s Place, your name and mailing information will not be sold.

Credit Card Account Information

Mary’s Place utilizes secure transaction methods (SSL) when collecting credit card information over the Internet. We do not disclose credit card account information provided by our donors except with the online payment processor to securely process the transaction.

How We use Cookies

Cookies are small bits of code that are sent to your computer when you log on to a website that allows us to identify you when you return to the site. Mary’s Place does not use cookies to track your usage or any other personal information about you.

Use of Links

Throughout our Web pages, we may provide links to other servers or social media sites that contain information of interest to our readers. We take no responsibility for and exercise no control over the organizations, views, or accuracy of the information contained on other servers.
