Holiday Giving Tags Are Ready!!

You can help Santa provide families the joy of giving and receiving by filling the Mary’s Place Santa Store with gifts! We need to stock the shelves with new toys for children, and gifts for children to give to their parents and grandparents at our Holly Jolly Holiday Party on December 19.

UPDATE: We’re no longer sending tags, but if you would like to help, consider planning a drive to collect toys or other warm weather items, or send items directly from our Amazon general Wish List and our Santa Store Holiday List!

Unwrapped gifts and donations should be brought to our warehouse location at 9 South Nevada Street, Seattle, no later than Saturday, December 16. Drop off hours are as follows:

  • Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm
  • The SODO Donation Center will be open on Saturdays during the Holly Jolly season 12/2, 12/9, 12/16 from 9-3
  • Extended drop-off hours of 9am-7pm will be available Thursday, December 14 through Saturday, December 16

Back to School Extravaganza

Our annual Back to School Extravaganza will take place on September 1 where we will make sure that nearly 300 kids are ready for the school year with new shoes, haircuts, back packs, notebooks, and pencils–everything they need to feel confident and ready to learn!

**UPDATE: The event was huge success! So many happy kids and parents with new clothes, shoes, backpacks, supplies, and haircuts for the new school year!

Thank you to for hosting this year’s BIG event and sending such awesome volunteers to be personal shoppers, and to Comcast and Vulcan Inc. for sponsoring! More than 300 kids and their parents came by! So many made this day possible! Awesome volunteers, and over 50 companies and organizations that held drives to collect all these supplies and clothes! Thanks, Radford Creative | Still + Motion Picture for the back to school portraits!! Thanks to the Church of Scientology of Washington State for their interfaith drive that collected more than 250 backpacks, to Old Navy for a great deal on clothes, REI Inc for water bottles for all, and Taco Time NW for the yummy taco bar!

Truly a community effort!!**
