On Saturday, December 15th, Mary's Place at the Hope Center will be busy with cooking, shopping, singing, and all kinds of Holiday activity. Join us and share holiday cheer with the homeless community!
From 12-2 pm volunteers will serve a wonderful holiday meal, and if you want to help, we can use waiters, pie servers, and dishwashers. Then, from 3-5pm, the magic and fun happen as homeless and low-income moms and grandmas visit the Mary's Place Santa Store and Moms Store to shop for their children and grandkids; and then the kids get to shop for their moms and grandmas! In the Santa Store, volunteers help as personal shoppers and gift wrappers. If you want to help, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can help to fill Santa's bag, too! Mary's Place is collecting 500 new pairs of shoes to give as gifts to homeless men, women, and children that day. A $15 donation will buy a shoe gift card! We also need unwrapped new toys for the kids, and gifts for children to give to their moms. Pick up Gift Tags from Mary's Place (or we can mail them to you!) to distribute to your organization.
If you'd like to help fill Santa's bag, drop your toys and other donations by Mary's Place (1830 9th Ave., Seattle) before December 15th. We're open Monday through Friday from 7am to 3pm.
Thank you for your generosity, and Happy Holidays!unteers Needed:
